When Nux was a teen, his life seemed normal, just like any other mobian's. That was until one fateful day when his village was attacked by monsters. The monsters were tall and lanky, with sharp claws and teeth that could tear anything apart. They appeared overpowered, as though they'd been turned into these creatures. They ran wild like feral animals, killing any mobian they encountered. After the rampage ended, Nux returned home. To his horror, he found only corpses surrounding his house. Guts were strewn everywhere, and blood was splattered across the walls. From that day forward, Nux was traumatized. He couldn't even grieve properly due to the horrifying things he'd witnessed.As he grew older, his anger intensified. He vowed to take revenge on the monsters that had destroyed his people and family. Determined, he decided to create an army strong enough to fight against those monsters.He began advertising his plan in other towns, gaining the interest of many mobians. However, his efforts also caught the attention of someone peculiar-a highly skilled individual with expertise in technology and robotic machinery. This person expressed a strong interest in Nux's plan and reached out to discuss it. During their meeting, Nux learned that this individual was quite influential and could help him turn his idea into a booming operation. Gullible and desperate, Nux agreed without hesitation. The mysterious individual eventually introduced himself as Professor Ivo, a genius in technology, programming, and engineering—exactly what Nux needed.After years of development and construction, Nux and Ivo unveiled their brand-new laboratory, named "The Echidnix Foundation." Mobians from across the globe and beyond could visit to enhance their strength using advanced technology. Professor Ivo even developed portal stations that allowed time travel and interdimensional travel. As the foundation grew in popularity, countless mobians volunteered for experiments, eager to gain unique powers.But one day, things went terribly wrong. While Nux was observing a mobian undergoing testing, something malfunctioned. The data used in the experiment became corrupted, causing glitches and errors. The mobian in the testing chamber began acting strangely. Nux, confused and alarmed, demanded the issue be fixed immediately. A worker entered the chamber to assist the mobian, but suddenly, the mobian transformed. It grew unnaturally tall, its body reduced to skin and bones. Its jaw snapped open, its teeth sharpened, and its eyes fell out. Before the worker could escape, the creature attacked, tearing them apart and splattering the walls with blood and entrails.Horrified, Nux watched as the other workers locked the door to contain the creature. He felt a chilling sense of deja vu-memories of the monsters that had destroyed his village flooded back. Overwhelmed, he fled to his office to calm down. In his rage, he slammed his desk, shattering it into pieces. Professor Ivo rushed in, alarmed by the noise, but upon seeing Nux’s state, he decided to leave him alone and investigate the incident himself.When Ivo reached the scene, he was astonished. Yet, instead of being horrified, he smirked, seeing an opportunity to execute a new plan. A few days later, Ivo met with Nux to discuss a proposition. Recognizing Nux’s unresolved trauma and rage, Ivo offered him a deal he couldn’t resist. He promised Nux the power to eliminate as many monsters as he desired, on the condition that Nux trusted him. Ivo proposed creating "overpowered data" to transform Nux into an ultimate lifeform. Nux, eager to gain the strength needed to protect his loved ones, agreed.The experiment began with Nux entering a chamber while Ivo tampered with the data in secret. When the process was complete, Ivo injected a serum into Nux, supposedly to give him immense power. At first, Nux felt fine, but moments later, he collapsed. His vision blurred, and his body grew weak. Reaching out for help, he watched in horror as his hands sprouted sharp claws and his teeth grew into deadly fangs. His sclera turned black as he cried out, only to see Ivo watching with a smile.Fortunately, Nux didn’t fully transform into a monster, but he was now partially corrupted. When he regained consciousness, he felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Ivo explained that corrupting him was necessary for his strength and power but warned that if Nux underwent further experiments or lost control of his temper, he could fully transform into a monster. Enraged, Nux confronted Ivo, calling him a liar and threatening to kill him. Ivo calmly replied that Nux needed him and that without his help, Nux was just a weak, gullible echidna. Ivo taunted him further, asking if Nux truly wanted to become the very monsters he created all those years back.This was Nux's breaking point, as he realized what that meant. All his plans and efforts felt meaningless. In a fit of rage, he attacked Ivo, but Ivo dodged effortlessly. He reminded Nux that resistance was futile—Nux was now his puppet. Reluctantly, Nux submitted, unaware of Ivo's true capabilities.Since then, Nux has been consumed by hatred, guilt, and trauma. He obeys Ivo’s orders like a puppet, continuing to enhance mobians' powers. However, Ivo’s sinister plan unfolds in the shadows. He corrupts mobians, transforming them into bloodthirsty monsters to build an empire of beasts under his control.

The Echidnix Foundation is a scientific company that creates and uses Mobians for experimentation, solely for the purpose of making them more powerful. It is advertised across towns and cities as a way to improve lives and enhance individuals.The foundation is housed in a large black building with a sleek, modern white interior. While the building itself isn’t very tall, most of its floors are underground for privacy and security reasons.Floor 1 is the main entrance level before descending underground. Multiple elevators provide access to all the floors. This level includes a desk where meetings and appointments can be booked, as most Mobians voluntarily sign up for experimentation.Floor 2, the first underground level, consists of various rooms where Mobians and successful experiments are kept. It also includes a cafeteria.Floor 3 marks the beginning of the lab area, equipped with advanced machines used to perform simple experiments. Mobians often come here for their first experiment.Floor 4 is more advanced and serves as the second stage of experimentation. It features larger machines with cutting-edge technology. Mobians are brought here for their second experiment, which typically assesses their potential for corruption.Floor 5 is more hazardous, housing portal machines and other highly complex equipment. This is also where scientists create new Mobians. Mobians sent here undergo the final stage of experimentation. If successful, they gain a random level of strength or power. However, it’s common for them to become corrupted or transform into something unintended.Floor 6 is the most dangerous level. It contains rooms where corrupted experiments are confined. Most corrupted experiments have no self-control and remain in a beast-like form permanently. Some possess overpowered abilities that can kill instantly, so they are placed in specially designed rooms to ensure they cannot escape. Experiments with some degree of self-control are left alone, but they often lose their sanity over time and descend into madness.The foundation has its secrets, however. Many agents are tasked with seeking out Mobians with abnormalities to capture for experimentation. Agents are also responsible for tracking experiments or Mobians who may have escaped. Corrupted experiments are typically hunted down and killed on sight, though there are occasional exceptions.On very rare occasions, successful experiments can become workers as well, but only if they are highly advanced. This was the case with Sharx, who was fortunate to have this rare opportunity.

Miles was a young fox in kindergarten, being often bullied for his two tails and abnormalities. He frequently felt alone and scared, and isolated himself from others. His parents had not cared, and were more interested in a business they were planning. Miles, being a creative little one, one day had to create something for a show and tell event in his class.He ended up scribbling a hedgehog-like character on paper, giving it a cape and cool patterns on it's fur. He was very happy with the drawing, and went to bed excitedly. The next day, he went to school happily for once, and couldn't wait to show off his drawing to the class. He waited patiently until the event started, preparing his speech.Once it finally begun and it was his turn, he went up to the front of the class with a big smile on his face. Many of the other students whispered and made fun of him quietly, but he didn't let that get to him this time. He proudly showed the class his drawing, showing off a genuine smile. He said the figure in the pictures name was "Sock," because he loves wearing socks since they're so comfy.He talked about how Sock is his imaginary friend, and that he feels more comfortable when he has this drawing with him. The class was silent for a moment after his speech, but students slowly started to giggle, and the class burst into laughter..Miles' eyes widened in shock as he felt his heart sink, he slowly started to tremble and breathe heavily. Before he had a full panic attack, he bolted out of the classroom and ran home. Teachers were concerned, and called his parents. They were very disappointed in Miles for running off from school like that, and decided to homeschool him for the next few weeks.After the day ended, Miles was in his room getting ready for bed. No one ever really tucks him in, so he has to do it himself. As he laid in bed, he looked at his drawing with disappointment. He teared up and crumpled it up, attempting to throw it in his trash can, but it landed on the floor without him realizing. He soon drifted off to sleep, feeling miserable..Overnight as Miles was sleeping, something strange started to happen.. His crumpled up drawing started to shake.. and a portal began to open underneath it. It was nothing that had ever happened before.. not in this town at least. It fell through and landed in a mysterious lab, a worker nearby noticed and picked it up, confused of where it came from. The portal then closed, leaving no trace.The next day, Miles woke up with the feeling of dread. He realized he destroyed the piece that mattered to him and started searching for it all over his room but to no avail. He was really upset, and cried to his parents about it, but they did not care and said it was just a drawing.A couple days have passed by, Miles has been kept at home due to his mental state. He's been isolating himself in his room most of the time, avoiding interaction. His parents were only a little concerned, but were more busy trying to get a business job.His parents were once talking to someone on the phone, and were very shocked at what they received.. It was an interview for a very big business, and without hesitation they accepted it instantly. Over the course of 2 days they tried finding a babysitter to hire, but struggled to find the right one.. Luckily, they managed to get one, a kind hedgehog that was up to the job.On the day Miles' parents were ready to leave for the interview, they allowed the babysitter to come and introduce himself. They were in a rush to leave, and left the babysitter to the house. He walked around and explored, looking for Miles' room.He saw a door with a bunch of drawings taped to the front and assumed it was his room. He knocked, but got no response. He knocked again, encouraging Miles to come out. Miles was already tired of staying in bed all day, so he finally decided to come out.To his shock.. the babysitter looked just like the figure he drew for show and tell! His jaw dropped and his eyes filled with joy. He shouted "Sock!" and hugged the hedgehog. "Sock.. is that my name?" The hedgehog thought to himself. He smiled and endured the hug, patting Miles' head.Miles was already in a much better mood, he couldn't even believe this was real. Sock complimented Miles' two tails, saying they're very unique. That was something Miles had never really heard someone say to him.. it was always just harsh jokes against him.Over the next few days, Sock and Miles shared a bond they thought they'd never have. They had ice cream together, played outside, Sock cooked food for Miles, Miles showed Sock his drawing skills, Sock properly homeschooled Miles, and Sock always tucked Miles into bed. Miles was the happiest he's ever been, his parents have never treated him like how Sock was. It felt like a dream.Suddenly, Sock received terrible news on the phone. Miles' parents had both died in a fatal car crash whilst returning home. He informed Miles about the news, and he was distraught. By now, it was already Sock's time to stop babysitting Miles, but he refused. He saw how happy he made him, and wanted to achieve that again. Miles felt like a son to him.From there, Sock tried to cheer up Miles everyday. Doing new activities with him, and putting on his favorite shows. Slowly but surely, Miles started feeling slightly better. He was already doing well again, and was extremely grateful for Sock being there for him.One day while him and Sock were watching TV, there was a sudden knock at the door. Sock got up and told Miles to stay put, in which he listened. Sock cheerfully answered the door, but there stood a tall, eerie echidna with scars all over his face. Sock felt a familiar presence, but couldn't put his finger on it.The echidna introduced himself as "Nux," then informed Sock that they had to take Miles. Sock instantly said no of course, watching the echidna tilt his head down.He chuckled, "Well, Sock.. it ain't that easy."Sock's eyes widened in fear, asking how he knew his name. The echidna stated that he keeps his secrets, and refused to tell Sock. Sock started to tremble, and attempted to slam the door. But as he did, the echidna grabbed it, pushing it back open.Miles heard the loud bang, asking what was going on. Sock shouted for Miles to hide, to which he did. The echidna warned Sock that he shouldn't have done this, and suddenly 6 other echidnas walked up with guns pointed at Sock.Sock suddenly started growling and breathing heavily. His form began to change, his teeth started to sharpen, and horns began poking out of his head. Small parts of his limbs began to rip open, bleeding out as he grew abnormally taller. His eyes formed into one, turning pitch black. His jaw snapped, opening widely and showing off dozens of sharp teeth.Nux backed away to go hide as the other echidnas watched in terror, and immediately began shooting. Sock lunged forward and grabbed one of them, tearing their body apart and throwing both parts to the ground. He snapped his head at the others, who tried to back away..He jumped to one of them, tearing their head off and throwing it at another echidna, knocking them out. He then ripped open their stomach and pulled out all their organs. Another echidna watched in horror, unable to move from shock. Sock noticed and grabbed them too, slamming their body onto the wall and ceiling.Blood and guts were EVERYWHERE. After Sock was finished, he was standing over the dead bodies, breathing heavily like a feral animal.Suddenly he heard a faint voice.. a voice he knew.. He turned his head, expecting it to be another echidna. It was Miles. He was trembling and tears were falling from his eyes. He stared at Sock in the eye, and said.."S-Sock..? What are you doing..?"Sock felt his heart sink. Black tears started to roll down his cheeks. He looked at himself in a puddle of blood.."Oh god.. what on earth have I become?" He thought to himself.Before he could do anything to comfort Miles, Nux came out of his hiding spot and shot Sock in the neck with a sleep dart, and he collapsed instantly. Nux grabbed Miles' arm, forcing him to come with him.Several hours later.. Sock woke up, feeling like everything was back to normal. He rubbed his eyes, then that's when he realized Miles was gone and he was laying in a puddle of guts and blood. He panicked and looked around, desperately searching for Miles.After minutes of searching, he found nothing. He saw his reflection in the blood again. His form was back to normal except.. he had small horns sticking out, and his eyes were still pitch black. And those tears.. they were permanent. There were scars all over his limbs that really stung too.He was also covered in blood, and needed to wash it off ASAP. He went to the hose outside and soaked himself in water, getting all the blood off. After a few minutes, he managed to get off all the blood.He was not sure what to do from there, he was worried sick about Miles but he knew he couldn't go out looking like a monster. He looked out into the woods and saw footsteps leading towards there. He decided to follow them, thinking he'd be lucky.He walked and walked, unable to find anything useful. In the distance however, a hedgehog spotted him and marked him as a threat. He started dashing towards Sock, plunging him to the ground, pointing a gun at him. Sock's ears went back and he hissed at the other hedgehog, feeling the instinct to turn into that "thing" again.The other hedgehog noticed the mark on the top of Sock's shoes, realizing where he's from. He lowered his gun and helped Sock up, apologizing for the attack, despite still feeling a little bit unsafe because of how Sock looks.Sock was not too fond of this first impression and crossed his arms. The hedgehog rolled his eyes and introduced himself as "Sharx." He said the reason he lowered his gun was because he realized where Sock was from. Sock argued that he wasn't from anywhere, and has a kid to rescue. He tried pushing Sharx out the way, going back on his walking trip.Sharx followed, trying to tell Sock he doesn't know where he's even going. Sock growled, feeling very irritated by this guy. Sharx quieted down a little, not wanting to anger Sock too much. He knew what would happen, but he just wanted to help. Sharx then told Sock he can help him find the kid.Sock stopped and he looked at Sharx, intrigued. Sharx knew he finally got his attention and explained how Sock was some sort of experiment, and that his design was based off of a mysterious drawing that fell through a portal during one of the lab tests. Sock rolled his eyes, clearly not believing it.Sharx was very aggravated with Sock's attitude, and suddenly smacked him, giving him a reality check. Sock's eyes widened, but he was surprisingly not angry. He apologized and said he'd listen to Sharx now. Sharx was confused.. Sock was acting like an angry cat just a moment ago.. but now he seems very empathetic.He decided to ignore it, but started to explain who Nux was. He said that Nux was the CEO of a company from a different universe. It was called "The Echidnix Foundation," it was a company that ran experiments and labs. They tend to kidnap mobians and run tests on them, or they create new mobians to run tests on. Sock felt like all this information was a little bit familiar, but he didn't buy it still.Sharx groaned and just told Sock he'll just help save the kid. Sock smiled and shook Sharx's hand, thanking him. Sharx rolled his eyes and pulled out one of his watches, putting it on his wrist. He tapped a purple looking button on it, and a GUI showed up.He scrolled through the different worlds, and selected a specific one. Sock was amazed, he had never seen anything like it. Sharx then managed to spawn a portal, Sock asked where it would take them.. and Sharx replied, "Who knows?"Together, they both entered the portal, and their adventure to save Miles has only just begun.(TO BE CONTINUED.)

● S0CK felt like a father figure to Miles● S0CK is asexual, he was made to not feel any sexual attraction or feelings.● S0CK has no specific age, but is seen as an adult● S0CK's original experiment label was "S0CK001"● S0CK's anger levels have increased after his first transformation. The corruption tends to ruin his mind and give him mental changes he doesn't want, but sometimes he can rarely snap back to his normal self.

● Sharx is very skilled in using pistols● He built the watch on his wrist with the help of Agent Rose● His goggles are used to detect mobians that are corrupted. Once he wears them, there will often be marks or streaks highlighted on corrupted mobians in the goggle vision. His goggles can also be used for night vision.● It's known to be impossible to cure experiment corruptions, but Sharx has thought of a way that no one has found out yet.

S0CK is NOT an EXE. It's mainly a Sonic AU, but you can call it whatever you want. It's meant to be unique, none of the characters are supposed to be in character to their original counterparts.I know it may not be the best plot, but I was just having fun and writing whatever I found cool.
